Hello! My name is Madison and my pronouns are they/them.

I’m the author of poetry collections How To Be Held (Burning Eye Books, 2018) and Dress Rehearsals (Allen & Unwin: JOAN, 2023). Through my work as an educator and researcher, I am a passionate advocate for inclusive storytelling practices.

As of late 2023, I have a PhD in prose poetry!

My publications include prose poems, non-fiction essays, experimental fiction, a verse novella in Avast (Fremantle Press, 2024) and articles for The Guardian and Refinery29.

I live on Whadjuk Noongar land, with a rescue cat named Sylvia.
